Fundación Comparlante and the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion of Ecuador (MIES by its Spanish acronym) signed a Letter of Commitment aiming at promoting actions in favor of accessibility and rights of persons with disabilities.

Lorena Julio, President of Fundación Comparlante, and Jeimy Hernández, Subsecretary of Disabilities, agreed upon exhibiting Invisibilidad Consentida in the context of the Accessible Art Program.

Following Fundación Comparlante´s proposal in 2019, the Honorable National Assembly of Ecuador declared November as the Month of Accessibility. In this context, we will take the work of artist Andrés Julio to the Presidency of Ecuador the last week of the month. Thus, we bring forward the first actions in favor of promoting accessibility for persons with disabilities upon signing the agreement yesterday.

Convinced of the importance of working together with civil society and governments, we generate more opportunities to persons with disabilities.
