Official Announcement: Cessation of Operations of Fundación Comparlante
To our community, allies, collaborators, protagonists and friends:
With deep respect and gratitude, we officially announce the cessation of operations of Fundación Comparlante, effective as of November 1, 2024. This decision is the result of a difficult, but a necessary reflective process.
Since our founding, we have dedicated ourselves with passion and commitment to promoting equity, eliminating barriers, and expanding opportunities for the full development of persons with disabilities throughout Latin America and beyond. Thanks to your support, we have managed to raise awareness, promote innovative projects and create a significant impact in the lives of thousands of persons, as well as within the teams, organizations, companies, governments, and participation spaces that we have accompanied both as promoters of rights and professionals.
We want to express our most sincere gratitude to our partners, collaborators, volunteers, and all those who have believed in and contributed to our mission. Although we are ceasing to operate as an organization, Comparlante’s legacy lives on in every action and initiative that has left a positive mark on our community. We are honored to have worked alongside each of you and to have contributed to building a more equitable world.
Today, the bridge we have built together remains standing and stronger than ever 💛.
As part of this announcement of the organization’s ceasing of activities, we make of public knowledge that the information, resources, and tools we have created will continue to be available to everyone both on our website www.comparlante.com and on our social networks (@Comparlante), for their full access and use, with the same spirit of collaboration and commitment as always for an accessible world.
Thank you for being part of these wonderful 10 years of Comparlante’s work and impact!
